Register your details and choose a benefactor that you wish to donate your items to (register now to Donate to Your Items).

Choose the recycling materials you require depending on what you wish to donate - you can select freepost recycling bags, collection boxes, recycling posters or all three.

We will send you the requested items with your new Supporter ID and the benefactor's name printed on your chosen recycling materials.
Your Supporter ID will also be emailed to you as soon as you register.

Distribute your freepost recycling bags to friends, family or around the office. If you are a bigger charity why not get them distributed
in a local publication? Don't forget each recycling bag will have the name of your cause printed on it.
If you ordered a collection box, why not place in your office, community centre or anywhere
that you think would be a great hotspot for people to donate their items for your cause (please get permission first!).

For Laser and Toner Cartridge recycling please follow the instructions on the provided 'Laser & Toner Recycling Poster'.

Return your mobile phones and/or empty inkjets using the freepost recycling bags
(up to 3 items should fit in each bag).
- If you are recycling using our collection box and it is full (i.e. it contains around 50 mobiles and/or inkjets)
simply Arrange a Collection online. Please note that empty Laser and Toner Carts
should be sent back by the method specified on the 'Laser & Toner Recycling Poster' and not in our standard Inkjets & Mobiles Collection Box.

Login to your account online and view your Breakdown Statement
to see how much you have raised by donating your items!

Tip: Why not distribute some of your recycling bags to your colleagues, friends or family kindly
asking them to donate their mobiles and empty inkjets to your beneficiary. Every bag we send you has your unique Supporter ID
printed on it, so any items returned via these bags will also appear on your Breakdown Statement. A great way to increase the
donations being raised for your beneficiary!

Yes you can. Simply repeat the quick and simple 'Register to Donate' process specifying a different charity each time.
With each registration you will be assigned a unique Supporter ID, so when you want to order more freepost bags or collection boxes
you can login with that Supporter ID and we will send you the correct items.

If your charity, school, club or any other charitable organisation that you wish to raise money for
doesn't appear in the drop-down list then please feel free to Register a Charity.

Yes. Once you have registered the charitable organisation on our Register a Charity page the charitable organisation will appear in the drop-down menu
on the Donate to Charity page allowing other people to donate their items to this cause.
Most of the time it is a Charity Administrator, School or Club Committee member or someone who is usually quite involved with the charity that would
'Register a Charity'.
For example, if you signed up the charity 'British Red Cross' (assuming it wasn't already on the list!) then other people
would be able to see this charity in the drop-down list on the Donate to Charity page.
People can then register themselves to donate to the British Red Cross and the monies raised from their donations would come straight back to that charity.
By registering a charitable organisation you can, on your Breakdown Statement,
see not just how much you have raised but also how much has been raised in total by others donating to your cause!

Yes. Each Freepost Recycling Bag or Collection Box that is requested via our web site will be sent out to the donator with the charitable organisation's name
printed on it along with a barcode. We also print a Supporter's ID on the bag so when the items are returned we can track exactly what a donator has
returned and make the donation details such as how much they have raised for the charity available by logging into their secure account area and clicking on
Breakdown Statement.

That's really no problem at all, just make sure that you specify the organisation's name correctly in the Donations Payable To field on the registration page.
Please remember that you will receive a cheque every quarter with the amount that has been raised for that period.

In short, yes. The process for donating items is the same whether you choose the option of Register a Charity or Donate to Charity.
The registration process is exactly the same as choosing 'Donate to Charity', you still get to choose whether you want to be sent freepost recycling bags or
collection boxes.

That's no problem at all. Consider either signing up to a charitable organisation that is already in the list on our
Donate to Charity signup page or try getting in touch with the charitable organisation
that you would like to donate to and ask them to register.

The Breakdown Statement is a great way of seeing how much you have raised for
the charitable organisation that you are donating items to

Only around 10% of the inkjet cartridges are recycled compared to 30% of laser cartridges.
Like other areas of recycling, reusing one inkjet cartridge is not a big step but it is the right step -and one that everyone can take.
Consider the impact of everyone collectively recycling cartridges: the savings to society would be significant.
Not to mention the amount of money it will raise for our affiliated good causes. Recycling cartridges is green.
The cost is less than the price of a new cartridge, toxic waste is eliminated, and in many instances new jobs are created in our country -
particularly during a recession.
Most importantly do not throw your cartridges away - if we cannot recycle them please

No sorry, not currently. We will collect your items (as long as you have 25 or more) via our usual 'Arrange Collection' page, however there can't be any Inkjets or Mobiles in the same
package as they currently get shipped to a different warehouse for processing.

As long as you have a minimum of 25 items then you can get our courier to pickup them up via our Arrange Collection page. As long as you have 25 items or more
then the collection will be free.

We don't accept Epson cartridges as they are inktanks and not inkjets. Inkjets have a patented circuit board that is connected to the
the bottom of the cartridge where the ink is dispersed. This is what gives a cartridge its recycling value as it cannot be manufactured
from scratch by a non-OEM company.
Inktanks however do not have a circuit board (they sometimes have a small memory chip)
and can be mass-produced easily, therefore making the empty inktank cartridge worthless.

No. Please recycle any packaging materials yourself. By just sending in the item you can fit more in the recycling bags
and keep postage costs and any associated carbon footprint down to a minimum.

Simply login to our web site and click on Arrange Collection (My Tasks -> Arrange Collection). Please don't send the box back until you have around 50 items as this helps us keep courier costs to a minimum and therefore donate more back to the charity

Most people throw their cartridges away because they've never thought about recycling them and are unaware that recycling services for them exist.
Recycling cartridges presents a new way of reducing the impact on our environment and helping charities raise funds at the same time!

92% of the time the answer is yes! Inkjet cartridges best suited for recycling are those on our Inkjets, Mobiles & Laser-carts Wanted List. Some manufacturers however do make it tricky for some cartridges to be recycled and therefore in these circumstances unfortunately they hold no monetary value to therefore be passed onto your charity as they cannot be recycled.

The number of times a cartridge can be recycled varies among the types of cartridges. It's common for users to recycle one cartridge 10 times or more.
As with all electronic items they are fragile and will be damaged if not handled carefully which in turn reduces their recycling lifespan.

Four factors that can prolong the life of a cartridge:
- The electrical contacts on the back of the cartridge should be protected and never touched
- Be aware that any damage to the print head (bottom of cartridge) will ruin the cartridge
- Place the protective tape from the new cartridge on to the used cartridge head when it is empty and replaced. This helps protect the nozzles and the print head.
Replace the used cartridge in the original box for further protection
- Even when the cartridge has finished its life span it can still be sent to the plastic recycling factories
