Find out more about raising funds by starting a collection scheme.

This is a simple scheme, free of charge, that provides a facility to collect and recycle used inkjets and old mobile phones / accessories into a cash donation to your organisation. Either large on a large or small scale.
Statistics:
  • Every year over four million used printer cartridges end up in landfill sites.
  • Currently only 15% of all original inkjets sold manage to find their way back to the recycling market.
Recycled Cartridges:
  • Please be green and help us better these statistics.
  • Inkjets are cleaned, remanufactured, and sold for up to 40% cheaper than original products at BCMY Ltd.
  • Inkjets can also be found in most Fax machines as well as printers and multifunction machines
Donations:
Recyclable Inkjet Cartridges:

Mobile Phones: All unwanted and old mobile phones wanted.
  • BCMY Ltd will donate to charity 50% of the recycled value for all mobile phones and accessories. Unfortunately we cannot give an exact value as the market value of these products change daily.
  • Some phones can be worth up to a £30+ donation each.
  • Mobiles are shipped to developing countries to be reused, reconditioned, or are recycled nationally (UK) for other materials in a responsible manner.
Donation Method:
  • A. Choose either the collection bin or the freepost bags as your preferred way of collecting - each have their advantages.
(Please note: we will send and collect either item free of charge. No investment required)

    • Collection Bin: This is more suited to large offices, shops, schools, and other places where there are a fair number of people to help donate. It holds over 50 inkjets with space for mobiles and comes with posters that can be used to promote and locate the box to new collectors. (You will find that the box is most effective if it is kept in view within a busy coffee room, reception, meeting place etc.)

    • Freepost Bags: This is more suited to a small office, home or place where a small amount of inkjets and mobiles are used. There is also a reorder form on the back so that you can apply for some new bags before you run out!(It holds 1-2 empties and can easily be sent out with your outgoing mail). The bags can also be displayed on a reception desk, shop counter or can be sent out with newsletters to widen the collection net.
  • B. Fill in the rest of the application form and click apply. Once we receive this info we will forward the collection materials (free of charge) to you within a couple of days.

  • C. Receive the collection pack and start collecting, once the box has a minimum of 50 inkjets simply apply through this website, or telephone, for a free collection. ( The collection can be made within a couple of days and is usually an afternoon collection).

  • D. Once every three months (01-03, 01-06, 01-07, and 01-12) we will send you your donation cheque and a breakdown of how your collection scheme is going. It will include information on how many, what types have been received, their individual value and how much has been raised for your organisation.
